Elliott began his journey with pianos at 9 years old in Malaysia. Captivated by not only the music but also the design of the instrument itself, Elliott spent hours tinkering with pianos, taking them apart to explore their inner workings. This early curiosity evolved into a deep technical expertise, making Elliott not only an experienced consultant but also a true connoisseur of piano craftsmanship.
Although Elliott studied commerce, his passion for pianos has always been his driving force. He aspires to one day design and build his own instruments, exploring different sounds with artistic expression.
As Store Manager at Showcase Pianos Aberdeen, Elliott brings a wealth of experience and insight to his role. His goal is not just to match instruments to players- he helps people connect to a sound that speaks to them personally.

Showcase Pianos有限公司總裁
Owner Manuel Bernaschek has a passion. As a piano lover who recognized the need for fine pianos in Vancouver, he founded Showcase Pianos in 2007. Showcase Pianos carries only the finest artist’s instruments, highlighting world-class brands such as Fazioli, Grotrian, and Bechstein’s ‘W. Hoffmann’ line. But it was the Fazioli piano that inspired Manuel the most. For many years there was much talk in the piano community about a man in Italy who was making the finest pianos in the world. “We kept hearing that more and more famous pianists were converting to playing on Fazioli pianos, so I really wanted to bring them here,” says Manuel. He was determined to introduce one of the greatest concert grands in the world to his talented locale, handmade by world-renowned Paolo Fazioli. The German-made ‘C. Bechstein’ uprights and grands are another notable draw – as are the ‘W. Hoffmann’ series by C. Bechstein, another performance instrument completely made in Europe. More recently, the iconic German brand ‘Grotrian’ has introduced an economical Asian / German hybrid piano that is extremely popular among families looking for an entry level piano with excellent European tone. Over the past several years, Showcase Pianos has made a name for itself serving exquisite instruments of music to cherish and enjoy, with a crescendo of acclaim that resounds throughout Vancouver’s most illustrious private homes and concert halls. Manuel Bernaschek is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Spanish. On most days Manuel visits any of the stores by appointment. Manuel believes strongly in his Christian faith, in music, and in his community. Manuel was on the Board of Directors of Place Des Arts in Coquitlam, and worked with the Vancouver Police Department’s ‘Odd Squad’ Fundraiser, and currently works with the Canucks Autism Network’s REVEAL Gala event committee. In 2017 Manuel partnered with luxury menswear brand founder Mr. Stefano Ricci to open the 52nd store in the world that bears his name, and the first Canadian location at 1139 West Georgia Street.
