Senior Group

• Two or more pieces of the participants choice.
• Duration of the performance: 15 – 20 minutes

1. All costs related to travel, accommodation and meals are covered by the participants.
2. The competition program must be performed from memory.
3. The participants’ performance will be judged by a jury chaired by Patrick May, pianist Noel McRobbie and conductor Ken Hsieh.
4. The organizer reserves the right to change the competition schedule, the formation of the jury and the location of the competition.
5. The organizer takes no responsibility of lost, stolen or misplaced belongings.
6. Members of the jury may not enter their own students for the competition.
7. The scoring of all participants will be public.
8. The jury reserves the right to select the most interesting artistic personality of the competition awarding him or her with the honorary title “Great Music Architect at Oakridge”.
9. The jury’s decisions are final.
10. Laureates will receive following monetary awards:
    • Grand Prix $2500
    • Senior group winner $1500
    • Junior group winner $1000
    • Best performance of a work by Chopin $150
    • Best performance of a baroque piece $150
    • Best performance of a classical piece $150
    • Best performance of a romantic piece $150
    • Best performance of a contemporary piece $150
