The FIRST LIGHT FAZIOLI

SEATTLE, WA – A truly one-of-a-kind FAZIOLI piano, commissioned by Canadian real estate developer Westbank, has just arrived! Introducing the FIRST LIGHT FAZIOLI: a meticulously crafted instrument inspired by the building it now calls home. The vision behind its design? To capture and celebrate the beauty of light in all its forms.

To achieve this, a striking pattern of colored glass is integrated into the lid, refracting light and casting dynamic patterns throughout the piano and the lobby. This mesmerizing projection of color is a key design feature of the FAZIOLI. Another unique aspect is the matte black finish on the entire piano, including the keys, which enhances the contrast and highlights the captivating interaction of light within the space.

This marks yet another achievement for the FAZIOLI Pianoforti factory! Founded in 1979 in a small corner of a furniture factory near Venice, FAZIOLI has since skyrocketed in popularity, with renowned institutions like Juilliard—traditionally an all-Steinway institution—purchasing their first FAZIOLI in 2011. Since then, FAZIOLI has become the choice of top competition winners, including Luca Buratto who won the 2015 Honen’s Competition and Bruce Liu who won at the most recent Chopin Competition, both playing on FAZIOLI.
