5 of 6 finalists play Fazioli at Rubinstein International Piano Competition

TEL AVIV, ISREAL – On Wednesday the 28th of May, 2014 competitors entered the final round of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv.

Among the 36 competitors that started out, 5 of them had chosen to perform on the Fazioli: Weiyin CHEN, Jae-Weon HUH, Ji-Yong KIM, Rachel Naomi KUDO, and Maria MAZO.

Rachel Naomi KUDO and Maria MAZO got to the second Stage, while only Maria MAZO made it to the final round.   In the final stage, each competitor had to play two concertos with the orchestra.

After Maria MAZO played her amazing Mozart Kv 467, the scene changed completely.  Leonardo COLAFELICE, Antonii BARYSHEVKYI, Steven LIN, and Seong-Jin CHO all decided to change to the FAZIOLI piano for their final performance, meaning that 5 of the 6 finalists are playing on a Fazioli piano!
